After making a few slightly different special designs of these for customers, we found the original Military Specifications for them. Then designed and made these solid carbide shallow helix tools match the mean of those dimensions and are now available in stock. These tools can reduce the number of operations on a Picatinny Rail by as many as 6 passes and the dimensions are fixed, so it doesn’t vary as it can if the separate tools wear at different rates.
