MULTI-FLUTE NEGATIVE RAKE

All Negative Rake Chamfer Hogs from AB Tools, Inc. use insert TMNG 432 and Shim SM26 and Clamp CL5. Using industry standard TNMG-432 inserts, these indexable chamfer tools have negative axial rake. For use in any part material, these are nearly indestructible!?! Designed by our founder and owner, Alan Baker, when he was the head Tool Application Engineer at FMC, trouble shooting the various operations in the plant. They were having difficulty chamfering large steel forgings and this tool eliminated that problem. These have industry standard shims, SM-26, that can be replaced if the tool has been crashed or the inserts have broken. Proudly made in the USA by AB Tools, Inc.
